Beautiful.

100% resonate with this: "When you were young, feelings like pining and waiting were torment. Now, you can appreciate their exquisite and cyclical nature."

Thank you, Nathan. It's nice to hear those feelings resonate.

"You savor it, you do, and then you gorge yourself on it. And then, you savor the longing for the next one." Poetic and beautifully written. You have a point here and it's something I've never stopped in particular to notice. Well done.

Thank you! It's those in-between times/feelings/places I find myself drawn to, over and over.

This is so beautifully written, poetic and transporting. Love this so much. I can see why it’s your favourite post Stephanie. Thank you for sharing. I’ve often written that it’s the changing of the seasons that I love. Now I know why 💛💛

Emily, thank you for reading and for these kind words! It is a gift finding out how many specific feelings are shared (always more than we think!). I think it creates a certain intimacy with the world. So nice to find connection.

Like prose poetry. Beauty in words.

Thank you for saying this. I have been trying to learn more about and read more prose poetry - not entirely sure what makes a thing prose poetry versus a lyrical essay versus a poem but I know I like it all.
